The use of F-18 NaF PET/CT versus conventional bone scanning in the assessment of benign and malignant disorders has many advantages, which are discussed at length in this issue.Imaging of a variety of benign and malignant bone diseases is discussed, including the assessment of disease and the monitoring of patient response to therapy.
