Abstract
This book draws together some of the leading authors in tourism to provide state of the art reviews of research in fields of tourism. The book revisits classic reviews which first appeared over a decade ago in the Progress in Tourism, Recreation and Hospitality Management book series. The reviews will be of use to students, researchers and teachers of tourism.
Chris Cooper is foundation professor of tourism management and head of the school of tourism and leisure management at The University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia. Before moving to Australia he worked at the University of Surrey and Bournemouth University in the UK. Chris Cooper’s research interests include globalisation, tourism education and training, and resort development. He has published a number of texts in tourism and is co-editor of Current Issues in Tourism.
