Abstract

The book brings together a series of useful articles on aspects of orthopaedics, vascular surgery and ENT. Among the many topics discussed are; diagnosis and management of bone stress injuries of the lower limb in athletes, treatment and management of tennis elbow, Achilles tendon disorders, management of osteoarthritis of the knee, the management of abdominal aortic aneurysms, venous ulcer disease, salivary gland swellings, Meniere’s disease, management of chronic rhinosinusitis and Investigating the thyroid nodule.

Mr Gopal K Mahadev is a Consultant Surgeon with specialist interest in Breast Oncoplastic and General Surgery. He is member of Court of Examiners for MRCS with the Royal College of Surgeons of England & FRCS Intercollegiate Board and also involved in Quality Assurance of Assessments. He has worked as Senior Lecturer (Hon) in Medical Education and is a teacher, trainer, examiner and mentor for Medical Students, Surgical trainees as well as Consultants.

Dr Rebecca Saunders is a Specialty Trainee in General Surgery working in Mersey deanery. She graduated from the University of Manchester in 2009 and after foundation years started her surgical training.
