Abstract

We each have our own unique life story which make us special. When you are adopted you have an extra layer of identity – your birth family. This therapeutic workbook is designed to be used with adopted children aged 5-11, and offers a gentle way to explore this difficult subject.
Regina M. Kupecky has Masters Degree from John Carroll University. She has worked in the field of adoption for over thirty years. She currently works with children with attachment disorder and their families at The Attachment and Bonding Center of Ohio (www.abcofohio.net) and conducts training nationally and internationally on many adoption and attachment-related topics. Regina is the co-author with Dr. Gregory C. Keck of the bestselling books Adopting the Hurt Child and Parenting the Hurt Child.
The Adoption Club series by Regina M. Kupecky is a novel concept for helping adopted children share their stories. This therapeutic tool will help adoptees find and use their voices. Thank you, Regina!
