Abstract

The definitive guide to Zero Balancing brings this increasingly popular therapy to life. It contains a clear description of the anatomy and physiology of energy which leads on to a compelling explanation of how and why this form of bodywork can have such powerful effects. Throughout, there are illustrations which convey the unique energy of a Zero Balancing session and John Hamwee provides fascinating examples of clients, their experiences and the outcomes of the work.

John Hamwee is a Zero Balancing practitioner and acupuncturist. He trained with Fritz Smith, the founder of Zero Balancing, and has been teaching Zero Balancing and acupuncture for almost 20 years. John previously worked as a Senior Lecturer in Systems at The Open University, UK, for whom he wrote numerous textbooks. He is the author of Acupuncture for New Practitioners, also published by Singing Dragon. He practises in London and the Lake District, UK.

Fritz Smith is a medical doctor, osteopath and acupuncturist who spent many years in clinical practice seeking to combine what he knew about the body from the perspectives of both Western and Eastern medicine. As a result, he developed Zero Balancing in 1975. He still teaches Zero Balancing all over the world.

Gina Michaels is an artist and qualified Zero Balancing practitioner and teacher.
