Abstract

This is the 1st edition of the book Do’s and Don’ts in Obstetrics and Gynecology Practice. The text is comprehensive, updated as per the present day requirements in the subject of Obstetrics and Gynecology. In this edition of the book an effort is made to highlight the special problems like making of a postgraduate. Key points regarding "What to do" and "What not to do" in day to day practice are covered comprehensively. The book has 21 chapters. The first chapter deals with making of a postgraduate. Chapter two provides a comprehensive description of antenatal assessment. Next five chapters are dedicated to ultrasound in pregnancy, eclampsia, preeclampsia, multifetal pregnancy and sickle cell disease in pregnancy. Subsequent chapters deal with different conditions of placenta, postpartum collapse, amenorrhea, uterine fibroids, urinary incontinence, endoscopic surgery, carcinoma of cervix and endometrium. Last chapter deals with newer contraceptives. A comprehensive index is given at last.
