Abstract

This is the 1st edition of the book Recent Advances in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. This is annual periodical book with comprehensive and updated text as per the present day advances in the subject of otolaryngology. This book contains current surgical and non-surgical options for head and neck surgery. Preferred surgical techniques are described in detail with suitable illustrations. Recent advances like robotic surgery, implantable hearing aids, hybrid cochlear implants, etc. are given in detail. The book has 17 chapters. The first five chapters deal with different conditions of ear and vestibular system with detail description of recent treatment modalities. Chapter six deals with Eustachian tube disorders. Electromyography of larynx and muscles of ear are described in chapter seven and eight.
