Abstract

This is the 1st edition of the book Single Surgical Procedures in Obstetrics and Gynaecology–15: A Colour Atlas of Cervicopexy (Purandare’s). Purandare’s cervicopexy procedure is presented in a simplified way by creating a step-by-step procedural process with the help of high quality coloured photographs. The photographs presented in the book are self-explanatory. The text is comprehensive, updated and to the point. The book has 8 chapters. The first chapter deals with introduction to Purandare’s cervicopexy for prolapse. Chapter two provides a comprehensive description of principle of surgery. Subsequent chapters illustrate indications, preoperative prerequisites, operative position, operative technique, post-operative care and outcome of Purandare’s cervicopexy. A comprehensive index is given at last.
