Abstract

This is the 1st edition of the book Practical Handbook of OCT. The text is comprehensive, updated as per the present day requirements in the subject of ophthalmology. The book is focussed on a logical method of analysis and interpretation of the clinical images received on OCT to help and guide clinicians in assessing, classifying and selecting information. The book has 10 chapters. The first two chapters deal with suggestions to obtain clear and clinically useful OCT images as well as normal basic anatomy of eye and retina. 3rd chapter is dedicated to logical method of interpretating OCT. Subsequent chapters deal with “En Face Scan”, synthesis and deduction, elementary OCT lesions, ocular syndromes and complex cases. Last two chapters describe glaucoma and neurological disorders on OCT. 11 references are given in the beginning of the book for further reading. A comprehensive index is given at last.
