Abstract

Doody Rating : 4 stars : Cross sectional imaging by modalities such as CT and MRI plays important role in patient diagnosis and management. Radiologist interpreting these images needs to be thorough in normal anatomy. This anatomy atlas includes information on relevant anatomy on CT and MRI images which is very helpful during reporting. CT and MR images of all body parts are given in all three planes along with labelling for the readers’ convenience. These images accompany colour diagrams for better understanding of the anatomy. The CT and MRI images in all three planes are high resolution and good quality. All the structures are labelled directly on the images. Vascular structures are labelled on the CT and MRI angiographic images. This handy atlas will serve as quick reference book for imaging anatomy. Also useful for Radiology residents to understand and learn the normal anatomy on cross sectional images. In this era of internet, where everything is available, this atlas will serve as a handy, convenient and quick reference for radiologists while reporting and also useful for medical students, anatomists, radiology students, radiation oncologists and sonographers.
