It is possible to control your access to 123Library by Referer or URI. Users who come immediately from a specified link will be automatically logged in to your 123Library account.

For example, you might have a link to an eBook or your “/user/my-library/books” page (or indeed any page on 123Library) on your intranet at pages such as this:

• http://my-university.ac.uk/library/an-ebook-page
• http://my-university.ac.uk/library/another-ebook-page

In this case we would want to set up your Referer as “http://my-university.ac.uk/library/”

Any user clicking a link to 123Library from a page that begins “http://my-university.ac.uk/library/” would then be automatically logged in to your account and identified as coming from your institution.
